There are a number of ways to obtain the educational requirements necessary to write our Certification Examination in Cardiology Technology. All Cardiology Technologist programs offered are designed to fulfill the need for trained technologists in a variety of non-invasive diagnostic cardiology procedures.

The BCIT Cardiology Technology Diploma is part of the comprehensive Cardiac Sciences department program offerings. This program seamlessly combines flexible online learning with hands-on, skills-focused lab and clinical experience. This Cardiology Technology program is accredited by Accreditation Canada, approved by the National Society of Cardiology Technologists, and meets the competencies outlined in the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists National Occupational Competency profile.
Cardiology technology graduates are fully equipped to write the CSCT exam, and many start their careers as soon as they graduate. Students and alumni also have the opportunity to further their careers by pursuing one of the advanced certificate programs in Cardiac Sciences including device technology, cardiovascular technology, electrophysiology, or have an option to complete a Bachelor in Health Sciences through a partnering institution.
